How You Raise Capital
Investz helps companies raise capital online through a streamlined and regulated equity crowdfunding process, providing access to a broad network of investors while offering the support needed to launch and manage a successful campaign.
1. Apply and Get Approved
Companies submit information about their business, management team, growth strategy, and funding objectives. Once reviewed and approved, the company can begin preparing its offering.
2. Prepare Your Offering
The Investz team works with the company to develop a fundraising strategy, structure the offering, prepare investor materials, and create a compelling investment opportunity for potential investors.
3. Complete Compliance Requirements
Investz assists with the preparation of required disclosures, filings, and regulatory documentation to ensure the offering meets applicable securities regulations.
4. Launch Your Campaign
Once approved, the offering goes live on the Investz platform, where investors can review the opportunity, ask questions, and make investments online.
5. Access Capital Early
Unlike many crowdfunding platforms, Investz allows issuers to access capital once the minimum funding threshold of $10,000 has been reached and the required 21-day regulatory period has passed. This means companies can begin using funds during the campaign rather than waiting until the offering closes.
Even if the campaign does not reach its maximum fundraising goal, any funds raised above the minimum threshold belong to the company and can be used to support growth, operations, and strategic initiatives.
6. Continue Raising and Close the Offering
Companies can continue accepting investments throughout the campaign period while utilizing released capital to execute their business plan. At the conclusion of the offering, the remaining funds are distributed, and the company welcomes its new shareholders.
